Maximize your stardom

Many years ago when I was starting out. I had many people I looked up to that I really wanted to be like because of their perceived success.

I already read a book titled the laws of recognition by Dr. Mike Murdock so I understood palace protocol and how to connect. I didn’t have money but I was smart enough to get gifts no matter how little or at least go with a copy of my first book. You don’t want to know the title of that book

God bless people like Soni Irabor and Larry Izamuje who saw potentials in me very early including a certain Sam Adeyemi who brought me close when all I had was a vision and nothing else

Your greatness must always be to lift younger people who are struggling not to put them down because whichever way they will eventually grow and they never forget what was done,

I heard about a meeting and was looking forward to meeting an author we all looked up to way back. I was so excited that I would find the secrets to scaling my content and spread it. I got to the meeting at a prestigious locations and prayed for a one on one but all my expectations was dashed as we stepped into the sessions because the man insulted all of us all through but I wasn’t detected because I had enough motivation never to give up.

I eventually got a one on one with him and by the time I was leaving him I was ready to quit and go back to paid employment because all he made me see was how authenticity and originality doesn’t pay. How my in-depth research to bring out original content was useless and how I only needed to use google to find what people loved to read and just give it to them.

I was totally broken and wanted to give up but I read how to fail forward by John C Maxwell and went for another meeting few weeks later. This time Dr. Myles Munroe was in town and I bought a talking drum and headed to national stadium hoping to see him. The usual Naija protocol chose to become a stumbling block but like the short man in the Bible that climbed a tree. I raised my talking drum and shouted his name. He sent for me and adopted me from that day till he passed.

Yesterday, I got a call based on a class I taught on Saturday on goal scoring https://youtu.be/gn7o4LXK6cU which was a product of a research I carried out 6years ago
A group had seen it and they were inviting me to facilitate a 2day goal scoring session because in their exact words they ran a search about me and all they got was “Praise doesn’t overhype and lie to people because he wants to sell. His social media doesn’t tell the story of the effectiveness of his model”

My mind went back to the day that man tore me down and I got teary

Your pregnancy is only known to you and not everyone and while it’s good to get close to mentors never remain with those whose goal is to abort your pregnancy because of their insecurity or because they don’t fully understand what you carry.

No man is God over your life and whatever they tell you is at best am opinion not a conclusion.

Believe in yourself
Work hard on yourself
Follow your vision against all odds
Persist even if authority figures are against you
There is always an audience for your perceived madness please find them afterall portable(zaazu) has a strong following
Don’t give up, keep moving

Your pregnancy won’t be terminated
You will deliver safely and they will see your child grow.

Above all don’t allow bitterness in your heart because it will eventually consume you. Always remember those guys are human beings like you and they do their best with what they know.

Leaders must know that every rookie that shows up on our radar is an opportunity to feature as a chapter in the book of their life and we must never make them feel less than who they truly are.
