How to take control of your sector!!!!

Mukesh Ambani, at one time the richest man in Asia and the chairman of Reliance Holdings, was once asked about the secret behind the effectiveness of his market solutions. His answer has stayed with me ever since.

He said, “Work for us is worship. The only question we ask whenever we produce anything is if it can pass the test of worship unto God. If God wouldn’t accept it from us, then we won’t offer it to our customers.”

This profound perspective reminded me of a coaching session I had with a medical doctor who felt called by ‘God’ to leave his hospital work for ‘full-time ministry’. He expressed, “This medical work has robbed me of my spiritual work and made me miss His presence. I am thinking of quitting so that I can serve God.”
As I listened, I began to question his thought process:
“What would be God’s priority in a nation where there is only one doctor for every 10,000 patients? More pulpit ministers, or more doctors?”
“By what power do you help patients walk out of the hospital healthy and whole?”
“In the hospital, whose interests are you serving? God’s or Satan’s?”

By the time he finished answering, his perspective had shifted. He realized that the hospital was already his pulpit, and his stethoscope, his microphone. Hindered by a belief that separated the spiritual from the secular, he was on the verge of making a decision that could have detrimental effects, leaving many at the mercy of an already struggling healthcare system.

I introduced him to the concept of work as worship, a lesson I learned from Mukesh Ambani. This completely transformed his outlook. Viewing our daily work as worship changes everything. It not only enhances how we perform but also pleases God by making us indispensable at work.
Imagine the impact if everyone who prays to God in Africa saw their work as an act of worship? What do you think would happen to our productivity and economy? Unfortunately, those who view their daily work as merely secular and separate from their spiritual life within the walls of organized religion often neglect their professional responsibilities, as long as they can attend their religious services.

As you step out today, let your competence and innovation shine so brightly before your bosses and customers that they may witness your incredible productivity and solutions, ultimately glorifying your Father in heaven.

Be a savior in your field today. Be indispensable. Remember, your work is an act of worship unto God.

I am a Savior
